Tradeontinental line aids Canadian empire growth
The Graphic reports Grand Trunk Pacific progress in Canada with the Tradeontinental line extending 670 miles from Winnipeg to Wainwright through the North West agricultural belt. Towns rise along the route as prairie land becomes valuable, and the planned Moncton to Prince Rupert mainline will total 3,600 miles linking Empire trade. Wheat regions opening benefits Canada and the Empire by shortening Liverpool to the Far East travel.
