Harvey Gibbings of Miniota creamery earned multiple prizes at the Winnipeg Dairy Show. He captured top awards for highest improvement in 93 score butter, highest No. 1 butter percentage for the 1944 federal year, and overall high performance in 93 score butter with several placements. Silver trophy from Appleford Paper Products, Hamilton, went to Gibbings in the improvement category.
