Late Friday westbound train causes missed connections

The missed connection occurred when the late westbound train failed to meet the Miniota service, and the Brandon Miniota train was canceled on Tuesday. Printing for this week faced shortages as paper supply did not arrive, forcing the publisher to publish with available material.

Miniota Creamery Wins Prizes at Manitoba Dairy Convention

At Winnipeg last week the Miniota creamery placed third in the Keewa tin Box Special for highest first grade butter percentage with low mould and yeast counts. It also earned sixth in the Thorkelson Special for best kept creamery and surroundings and received third in the Cold Storage Special for 93 score butter under the Federal Grading 1946. Harvey Gibbings attended. total cash awards were $42. Congratulations to the participants.
