The Annual meeting of the Ratepayers of the incorporated Village of Miniota will be held in the Municipal Hall on Wednesday February 6 at 8 p.m. Business includes Receiving Annual Reports Erection of Councillors and other business. John Spalding Secretary-Treasurer.

The Lord Bishop of Brandon visited Minnesota on Sunday and conferred the Rite of Confirmation on six candidates, five young ladies and a young man. The service was enjoyable and the Bishop delivered a splendid sermon.

The rural council met in Minn ota on Saturday with resolutions. Budd Taylor calls for tenders for Columbia or Burgess Telephone Batteries with bids due February 28 1030. Peel Budd approves $1000 to Mr. G E Meilor for a new assessment payable at 125 monthly and balance after roll acceptance. Leid Craig directs advert for Weed Inspector 1930 with duties including poll tax collection at 20 percent of collections and salary 120 monthly. Taylor Reid hires Miss Myrie Davis as night operator at Cranda central for 40 monthly. Next meeting is Wednesday March 5 at 10 am for general business and Court of Revision.
