World’s youngest wedding parson performs in Los Angeles
Four year-old Marjoe Gortner, billed as the world’s youngest marrying parson, returned to his red fire engine and drums after preaching at a major city revival in the Philharmonic auditorium Los Angeles. A crowd near 3000 watched as he urged religion in a shrill voice while no fervent reactions occurred. He had recently married a young couple in Long Beach, an event that sparked national controversy. Above Marjoe shares a toy with his two-year-old brother Vernce.
