John Spalding and Mrs Spalding make a business visit to Winnipeg this week. The Miniota Hockey Club performs and dances in Miniota Hall tonight at 8 30 admission 35c. Mrs M Spalding plans to move to Winnipeg. Christmas falls on Sunday and the editors hope everyone enjoys the holiday.
The U.P.S. of the United church met Wednesday night in the church basement Miss Besse Bonner led the discussion and gave a paper on Christmas Games and contests followed by lunch to close the gathering

The Reeve bought the property for the municipality, totaling roughly $25,000. The sale lasted just over ten minutes, with the aftermath likely to require lengthy corrections.
The financial report for the Radio Dance linked to the Tribune Empty Stocking fund shows receipts of 34.30 cash and 10.00 cash on winnings with expenditures totaling 43.30 covering hall music printing produce and express. Friday night Christmas tree entertainment by United and Anglican Sunday Schools features Santa Claus and gift donations from White Gifts toward the needy.

Highlights include Welcome Chorus, Spelling Lesson, Cowboy Song, Indian Song, Christmas Conundrums, Santa's Coming, The Wrong Tip, Loy Orchestra, Duet by Marjory Horner and Bobby Bonner, Cornfed Babies, We've Got the Mumps, Minstrel Show, The Princess and the Woodcutter, and two High School carols.
