LAC Ray Salway has arrived home from overseas Air Force duty while Kenneth McGibney returns from overseas service in Canada and is expected home this week. Mr and Mrs Cunningham and Mr and Mrs Oliver attended their daughters wedding in Winnipeg last week. Miss F B Neelands Hamiota Mrs E Reynolds and Miss Betty Reynolds Winnipeg will spend Christmas at the Geo Reynolds home.

Rural council meeting faces grants and duties in Minsota
The Rural Council met in Minsota and approved an Old Age Pension application. It plans 50 50 snow plow aid for 46 miles, with extra miles funded by the municipality. Ward 1 overdraws 175, Reeve Lynch gets 125 for 1945 services. Public works gravelling for next year, boxing day holiday proposal, CPR reclamation requests, and land transfers to several individuals were approved by by law. Reeve offered regrets on behalf of the council.
