Minnedosa’s Garry Grant urged ward re alignment for fair trustee representation. Trustees rejected changes, citing broad division representation. Also reviewed Games Brandon 1979 attendance, eclipse viewing guidelines, school transport policy, and annual class photos.
The Senior Happy Gang held a Christmas party on December 13 with eleven card tables. Santa handed out chocolates donated by Municipal Staff, gifts were exchanged from Merchants and others, lunch was served, and a sing song followed. Ernie Sunley praised the hostess, seven birthday flowers were donated by Campbell's Flowers, and the next party is January 10, 1979 hosted by M Anderson W Butler E Mundell and M Bomford.
