Canada Pacific Railway to start additional passenger trains from Winnipeg to Toronto and Montreal beginning December 4. A special evening service will offer through sleepers, matching summer Trans-Canada speed. School Trustees Meeting at Beulah and Arrow River
The Municipal school board met at Miniota last Tuesday in the absence of the Chairman Dr. Palmer. Resolutions approved include fencing Beulah lots with Beulah Rink Co. use of grounds, insurance with Wawanesa, Xmas holidays December 23 to January 6, Van contract adoption, and tender adverts for van driving by December 20. Next meeting set for Arrow River on December 23.

Obituary of Mrs Cissie Bernstein 30 Measured in Virden
Mrs Cissie Bernstein dies at 30 years 3 months after an operation at Virden hospital. A relapse on Wednesday led to her passing. Funeral held Friday at St Marys Church with Dean Findlay and many mourners, followed by interment. Survived by husband, five children, parents Sir and Mrs Birch of Miniota, one brother William, and two sisters Mrs Davie Virden and Mrs R B M Oliver Miniota.
