Beulah Community Sends Funds In Memory Of Two Locals
Beulah Community Chapel Inc. contributed 12.50 to the Heart Fund in memory of Mr. Fred Bowman who died recently at Birtle and 15.00 to the Cancer Fund in memory of Mr. Bernard Fleury who died last week in Winnipeg. A Christmas Carol Service is set for December 16 in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with a social hour and Santa in the Community hall afterward. Directors met November 28 at G. Chisholm’s home. present were Tobena MacDonald, Muriel Paynter, Mary Doyle, Pearl Cooper, Gladys Chisholm, Donald Green, Jack Milne, Jack Page, Robert Sawyer, Brian Cooper and Art Ulley. Absent was Bruce Medd. A motion approved paying Mr. Pratt’s legal fees related to incorporation of the Beulah Community Chapel.
