A local drive seeks to convert the Miniota Hall into a Community Centre with a moving picture show using two 35 mm projectors. Shares have been sold but funds fall short. organizers urge additional subscriptions and plan a December 16 meeting at 8:30 p.m. in the Municipal hall to review results.
J. C May of Brandon is named delegate to the Life Underwriters association of Canada general meeting in Toronto on January 24 and 25. The article also notes a local annual meeting at the Oliver home with officers elected and reports received, plus a White Elephant sale and dance raising funds for the Community Centre and W I Rest Room Fund.
