Mr and Mrs Whit Howard now reside in Bradona. W J Collier suffered a bad crack to his right hand while fencing and was hospitalized. In town the WI Auxiliary whist drive awarded high scores to Mrs Al Armitage and W A Barrett. The Valley Ramblers orchestra played for the after cards dance. Pat Hodnett travels to Winnipeg with Miniota 4H Merry Stitcher Sewing Group guests of The T Eaton Co. Ltd. at the week’s end. The Miniota 4-H group earned top marks at the Hamiota rally. Amateur Concert results list several Miniota acts and prizes. About $675 was raised. Farmers Union meeting drew many from Arrow River with Herb Schultz outlining parity concerns and agricultural policy topics. Lunch followed.

Rural Municipality of Miniota announces a by law to close the NE quarter of section 13 township 13 range 27 west of meridian Manitoba as shown on a plan by Arthur G. Larson sworn April 30 1954. Council will allow affected landowners to be heard before passing the by law. Notice dated November 18 1954 signed Edwin John Spalding secretary-treasurer.
