Hydro Inquiry Sets Public Hearing In Manitoba
The commission of inquiry into Manitoba Hydro developments will hold public hearings beginning Monday November 13 and running six to eight weeks. Charles Birt said preliminary work is nearly complete and R L Walker and Associates will handle technical analyses of Nelson and Churchill River hydro projects. The inquiry now includes rate setting, with briefs invited from Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Allied Hydro Council and Prof A M Lansdown among others.
