Provincial premiers meeting in Winnipeg announced there will be no wheat board in existence this year. The decision follows discussions about grain policy and regional agricultural administration.
The Municipal School Board met at Mimiocta on a Tuesday eve and adopted the Auditor's report. It approved driving van routes from various locations, hired a caretaker at Beulah, appointed a caretaker at Arrow River School, and formed a committee to discuss road work and school district repairs. Next meeting set for Miniota on September 6.
