Boy campers gain firefighting experience in park
Three Saskatchewan Boys School campers from Saeskatchewe and six staff aided a ground fire near Lily Lake in Prince Albert National Park. Under supervision, three top volunteers trenching, chopping, and hauling water helped extinguish a fire suspected of starting four to five days earlier by negligent campers. The incident provided practical training and earned the gratitude of federal game warden FE E Gregson who lent a motor boat.
