Couple honored at community shower for Charlotte Ariss and Louie Wolowich

A Wednesday evening shower at the Community Centre celebrated Charlotte Ariss and Louie Wolowich with corsages for the couple and family. Friends viewed gifts as they were opened, with thanks offered and a luncheon served. the wedding was set for Saturday August 7.

Birdtail River School Board Approves Temporary Classrooms Plan

Birdtail River School Division No. 38 holds regular meeting at Shoal Lake on July 15 1965 with trustees Stimpson Selby Fulton Reynolds Rapley Rankin Randell and Randell. Maureen Leland and Wilda Lockhart showcased Sample books and Maureen's dress at Virden. District members attended the Austin Threshermen's Reunion. Families met at the Sam Griffiths home in Rivers with visitors from Kamloops B C. A surprise party was held for Mrs. Morrow's 70th birthday. Red Cross quilts were made at the hall. Vacation School certificates were awarded to 21 pupils. Spence Littlejohn returned from Minneapolis with family. he won a $250 puzzle in the Toronto Star.
