Public notice calls for a large turnout to the Russel Baseball Tourney on August. Dr Dunsmore plans a Min rota appearance on Friday August 8 and will be away until September 8, urging dental visitors to see him before departure. Rev A and Mrs Moffat leave Friday for vacation with friends in the province.
The marriage of Mr A Jolley Miniota to Mrs B Darker Gladstone occurred at Union Church St James Manitoba on Monday July 28 officiated by Rev D W McKay. The couple returned home Thursday night and receive good wishes for the future.

Mr and Mrs Wm Hiecxman Ivabella welcomed a daughter at Miniota hospital on Saturday August 2.
The Miniota tennis players shone at the Birtle tournament winning several prizes. In ladies doubles Mrs Hawthorne and Mrs Hodnett took first place. The mixed doubles saw Mrs Hodnett and S Blackburn as winners while Miss J Hodnett and Miss Udell claimed second.

Exhibition diving and stunts were by Watts and Reveley.
The Minota rural council met last Wednesday with motions on tender acceptance for Lacour Schidler at 1969.08 dollars and forwarding to the Good Roads board. It approved boundary road payment share with Birtle Municipality and use of Miniota Mutual building by the Municipal School board.
