Miniets Hall hosts Ranger's play and concert while Christian Science lecture by Virden Kent Vlavers presents The Black Ghost. Edna Jaques offers a dramatic recital at Miniota and Kadna Jaques performs at Beulal.
Hilda Williams of Oak Lake spent the past week at home. Miss A Ellerington, visiting in Winnipeg, has returned home. The W A will meet on Wednesday at Mrs J Greenfield's home. The Hamiota District Drama Festival will be held in Rivers on May 3 at 8 p.m. and May 4 at 2 and 7 p.m.
A Manitoba style notice outlines Extra Specials from April 30 to May 7 by United States Ltd Minsota. It also mentions weekly half holidays for stores on Wednesdays except holidays and August September exceptions. The Miniota Ranger Company plans a May 6 town concert to raise funds for charity and hospital layettes.
