Regional Analysis Details Municipal Control and Tax Plan

The council has appointed a local Constable to serve current needs with all municipal spending routed through the Public Finance Board and the Minister of Finance. A 614 mill tax increase funds school debentures for 20 years, while the present 44 mill rate remains. Rail efficiency favors continued branch lines to avoid costs to farmers, and road plans seek extending highway 24 west to 41 with gravel market roads and a bridge at Uno.
