J W Collier drove stock to Winnipeg on Tuesday while Miss M Conway of Neepawa visits town. Mrs F Bobin showed spinning wheel uses and Wool production from raw to finished product. Mrs Chalmers and Mrs W Taylor demonstrated rug making and wool crafts. visitors praised the event.
The United U. PS held a church basement gathering with devotion and business. Miss Phyllis Dorward read a paper on The Growing Nation, followed by games, contests and lunch. The Girls Bridge Club met at Mrs E Fl Woods with Miss G McKenzie hosting and Miss E McLenehan making the high serve. Next week Miss EB Sararas will host at Mrs Conway's home.
The Miniota W I group met last week at Mrs R K Chalmers home with 13 members present and 20 visitors in attendance.
Good Friday services were held in several churches with a refined United church program. The evening service featured an anthem The Sun Shall Be No More, solos by Miss E Heosler and Mrs Rollie, and a pageant The Challenge of the Cross. The Junior and Senior Choirs performed The Palms and There is a Green Shit, with readings by Miss E Heosler and Rev. J A Stephen guiding the observance.
