Mrs Len Bryant Guest of Honor at Holy Trinity Shower
A miscellaneous shower honoring Mrs Len Bryant took place Tuesday night in Holy Trinity church crypt. Miss M Dic’ read an address, a decorated wagon of gifts was drawn, Sheila Harlin and Jack Smith dressed as Parmeretti, and guests gave thanks and best wishes. A light lunch ended the pleasant event.

Winter Carnival Bonspiel in Miniota Town
The Glenlochar community held a Winter Carnival with a bonspiel at the Miniota rink on Tuesday. Winners of the main event were W. Walker's rink with Wes McKenzie, Mrs. J. L. Walker, and Mrs. C. W Ellerington. A Saturday bingo party raised funds for the Soldiers Box Fund amid social time and lunch.
