Professional cards five lines or fewer cost five dollars per year. Farms for sale run one month at one dollar and 75 cents per inch thereafter. Franchise Granted for an Electric Street Railway in Peterboro

Peterboro council granted a 20 year franchise to the Canadian General Electric Company for an electric street railway. They must build over a mile by August 1 next, another mile in 1894 95, and a half mile in 1896 with a Five thousand dollar deposit as good faith guaranty.
