Manvers Award Seven Thousand Dollar Rail Bonus By Law
By law the Township of Manvers grants seven thousand dollars in debentures to the Lindsay Bobcaygeon and Pontypool Railway for a line from Lindsay to the Canadian Pacific Railway via Janetville Yelverton and Manvers. Debentures issued for twenty years at five percent, with a sinking fund raised by a yearly special rate. Voting on the by law set for June 13 1893 with polling at Lotus Janetville Lifford and Bethany offices and final tally June 14 1893.
