Funeral Rites for Rev Robt Fallis Led by Millbrook Lodge
The Independent Order of Oddfellows held a solemn funeral for Rev Robt Fallis of Oriental Lodge in Boston, with Millbrook Lodge No. 308 marching from the town hall to Gardiner's burying ground. Members from Peterborough and Pontypool attended, led by Noble Grand WS, and Dr. McKinnon and Bro. Robert McMahon directed the ceremony amid heat and dust. Fallis, initiated February 1875, passed after a long illness, with services at St Thomas church and the residence.

Orange Lodge Celebrates Boyne Anniversary in Lindsay
At the February meeting the County Orange lodge of Victoria decided to mark the Boyne anniversary in Lindsay with a large demonstration. J L Winters chaired a committee. About 20,000 people attended despite morning rain with eight train specials and seven boats bringing crowds. Archs decorated Kent Cambridge Willig Lindsay and Kent streets while Union Jack flew above the town hall.
