Reid Holds West Durham Seat in Election Result
Judge Rose and Ferguson ruled today on a kidnapping case. W H Reid, MPP for West Durham, retained his seat while the trial found a kidnapping charge proven only against Robert Cowan, an agent, not Reid. The abducted man was John Yarrow of Newcastle, 73, seized from a rig and kept in a house until the case concluded. Local curling results: Peterborough vs Millbrook yielded Millbrook wins in two matches with scores and lineups listed. Also a medicine ad claims a cough remedy is the best and pleasant.
