Insane Escaped Prisoner Turbulent Yet Calculating
Andrew Eagleson, a well to do farmer near Bailieboro, was jailed on Thanksgiving Day for commitment to Millbrook. He attempted escape while escorted by Constable Handley and injured the guard. Since confinement he has caused disruption, tearing a blanket, kicking Jailer Failor Higgins, and manipulating the pump handle to challenge inside. Governor Snelgrove intervened, and Eagleson remains a highly cunning inmate, with periods of seeming rationality.
