Do You Remember? ’10 YEARS AGOAn observance of the 1st year's operation of the 2 Kansas City-Twin City Rockets will be held Thursday by the Rock Island lines in commemoration of the service of these trains inaugurated, Sept. 29, 1937, according to Harry Odle, local freight and passenger agent,20 YEARS AGOJ. H. Marston has purchased the interest of E. W. Larson in the Marston and Larson partnership, which has handled the Dodge Brothers agency here for several years, it was announced today. Mr. Marston will continue to operate the establishment at 116 Delaware S. E. Mr, Marston and Mr. Larson came to Mason City from Boone in 1921.30 YEARS AGODavid McGreevey, Lester Belding, John Walters, Clarence Timmerman, Althus Toinby, Arthur Swanson, John Hubbard and Adelbert Cook left over the Milwaukee for Iowa City, where they will become soldier students at the state university this Tuesday.
