Bowie HeroHonored HereF^lhumouslyImpressive ceremonies were observed at Bowie High School auditorium Tuesday night, when |Col. Marriner of Sheppard Field |-presented to Mrs. Ivan Heard the 1 Air Medal and Oak Leaf Cluster honoring, posthumously her late son, Lt. Fov Ray Clingman, who was killed in an air raid over Germany.Waller Alexander, Superintendent cf Bow’e High School, I where young Clingman had grad-' uated, presided over the meet-) ing and impressive talks wetej made by Jim Stewart, Comman-er of the local post of the American Legion, and J. B. Lewis of the Legion.Appropriate music was furnished by Bowie High School Band, under direction of Geo. Rucker.
