Williams of Wood-lawn.Pvt. Dennis A. Richards, 20, husband of Colleen Marie Richards and son of Mr. and Mrs. Noel N. Richards, all of Belle Rive.Pfc. John R. Pierce, 21, son of Harry Pierce of 1004 south 22nd street, Mt. Vernon.Specialist Fifth Class Larry W. Newell, $2, son of Mrs. JeanA. Anthony of 1009 Pace Avenue, Mt. Vernon.Williams is a tank driver in Troop M, 3rd Reconnaissance Squadron.Richards is an infantryman inTroop L of the same squadron.Newell is a gunner in Troop M of the same squadron.Pierce is a mechanic in Troop I of the same squadron.The 11th Armored Cavalry, an Army unit that took part in the Philippine Insurrection of 1899-1903, is a highly mobile regiment which was last stationed at Fort George Meade, Md.
