During the past short while national and provincial publicati-ons in Canada nave been devot-ing considerable space to the story of DIEPPE, the raid on the French coast by Canadian Troops, August 17, 1942.There are several returned men living in The Pas and throu ghout northern Manitoba who took part in that raid. One such veteran is Roy Johnston of The Pas.Starring next week The Pas HERALD starts the first of six parts on DIEPPE...THE BIG RAID, written by Roy Johnston detailing his own personal experi ences of that raid.
