BATTL* FLAGS CAPTURKD BY SHERIDAN.On Saturday Major General Torbert, chief of Sheridan's cavalry, introduced to Secretary Stanton private James M. Compston, company D. 91st Ohio volunteers, detailed bearer of three rebel battle dags, one captured by himself at Cedar Creek and another captured by private Kichard Taylor at the same place. The ether was captured by the 11th Pennsylvania cavalry in the Luray Valley.Secretary Stanton returned the thanks ot the Department to the brave captors, and ordered medal? to be prepared for them in recognition of their gallantry.
