Eddington Soldier DiesjIAn 18 - year - old Eddington i soldier died yesterday in Veterans Administration Hospital, 1 Philadelphia, where he had been a patient for the past several months. 1Pfe. William F. McDonald Jr., son of William F. McDonald Sr., chief of the Eddington Fire Co. and Bensalem Township Fire Marshal, was stabbed by a Ger- ' man youth on July 3 in Munich, Germany, where he was stationed. He had been hospitalized in Germany and at Valley Forge Army Hospital before being transferred to the Philadelphia hospital.In addition to his father, he is survived by his mother, Billie; two sisters, Sharon Lee an Sandra Jean, both at home, at 2831 Pearl Ave., Eddington, and by a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Inez Palmer of Cornwells Heights.Private McDonald was a member of the Eddington Fire Co. and attended Bensalem Township High School be'ore enlisting in the Army in 1964.Relatives and friends have been invited to the funeral Tuesday at 10 a m. from the Hoffmann Funeral Home, Hulmeville Road. Corn wells Heights, with Rev. Huibert De-1 Meester of Christ Episcopal Church, officiating.Interment will be in Beverly, N.J., National Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday after 7 p.m.
