Technician Fifth Grade Thore moved forward of h:s own front line in order to evacuate eleven casualties Although he was pinned down several times by enemy mortar and artillery fire, he continued his effort* until all wound ed had been moved to a place of safety His courage was an Inspiration to all who saw him H T 5 Thore u the mm of Mrs Charity Thore, of this city, and is home on furlough He has two brother* in the service Cpl Barley Thore in Belgium, and Pvt Jack Thore, of Camp Chaffee, Ark,, who is also at home on furlough
