SECOND BATTALIONWINS CADET TROPHYMaj. Eaton Harrison’s Command Selected as Best in ColoredRegiment.The 2d Battalion of the ArmstrongTechnical High 8chool Cadets, commanded by Cadet Maj. Eaton Harrtson, won the annual battalion competitive drill of the 24th Regiment of colored cadets in the Howard Stadium yesterday afternoon. , ^Beginning at 2:15 o’clock, the drill was witnessed by nearly 4.000 persoijs. The regiment was reviewed officially by Rev. F. I. A. Bennett. Mrs. Mary McNeill and Dr. J. Hayden Johnson, members of the Board of Education; G. C. Wilkinson, first assistant superintend-net of schools, in charge of colored schools, and Oapt. A. O. Newman, director of the cadets. Following the review, the 1st Battalion took the tleld for competitive maneuvers, after which the3d and 2d Battalions, respectively, madetheir bids for the cup The judges of the drill yesterday werel.leut.
