Linsea, of Lansing, have three sons and two sons-in-law now seizing in, the armed forces—two in the army, on in the army aircprps, and two in the naval air corps.Pfc. Warne “Dan” Linsea, 24, is with an infantry battalion in the southwest Pacific, IJe entered the service in August, 1942, and left for overseas in January, 1944, Going first to Oalin, Hawaii, he received seven months’ training as a jungle sniper, and flame-thrower, before participating in the in vasion of the Philippine Islands. He was wounded February 14 on Luzon, but has fully recovered, and is now back with his outfit. -Tech. Fifth Grade Walter O. Linsea,: 28, is serving with a communications J unit of an anti-aircraft battalion in the^ in April, 1942, and left for overseas last January.Arthur A. Linsea, 23, aviation ord-nancemah second class, is serving as an. instructor at tht aviation ordnance school at Norman, Oklahoma, from which he previously graduated as hon or man. He entered the navy in May, 1943.Alexander Hnatiw, 22, aviation electrician’s mate, second class, and son-in-law of the Linseas, entered the service in. November, 1942, and before leaving for overseas duty in the £outh Pacific, attended electrician’s school in Chicago. He served eight months oyerseas, and then returned to the states for several months. He again is serving in the Pacific area.Pvt. J'ack B. McDonald, 25, another son-in-law, is now receiving his preflight training in the army air corps at San Antonio, Tex. He entered the service in November, 1944, after having served as a civilian instructor at Dorr Field, Fla., for sixteen months.Arthur Linsea was born in. Clare and attended school in Farwell. Mrs. Lin? sea is the’ former Olive Ogden, of Fais well.
