PROMOTED OVERSEASCAFT. R. T. CRADDOCKWord of whose promotion overseas as a captain has just been received, is tlie son of Mr and Mrs. E Craddock of this city. Bom in Lethbridge ana educated in the public school and Collegiate Institute. he was a member of the nonpermanent forces lor two years prior to the outbreak of war. When war was declared he went active with his unit the 20th Battery, RCA, with the rank of sergeant. In August. 1940. he was commissioned and took his officer’s course at Fort Garry. Winnipeg, graduating as If. 1 lieutenant, in January. 1941. He remained on the instructional staff mWinnipeg until leaving for overseas early in March. 1941 Since being overseas he has been attached to an Anti-Tank Regiment but recently has been transfer! ed to Light Anti-Aircraft.
