Pfc. C. W. Brewer Stationed in GermanyCharles W. Brewer, son o! Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Brewer, Route 1, Wingate, recently was promoted to private first class in Germany where he is assigned as an aidman with the 2nd Evacuation Hospitalin Bad Kreuznach.His wife lives at 1301 S. Bowie, Abilene.Brewer entered the army i n May 1958 and received basic combat training at Fort Carson, Colo. He was stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, before going to Europe last October.Brewer is a 1954 graduate of Blackwell High School.
