Y., Jan. 1., (AP) Fourteen survivors-of the crash of a/nonscheduled air liner rested in a hospital this New .Year’s Day as rescue workers completed the grim task of recovering the todies of the 26 persons killed. .None of the survivors was reported in critical condition.The twin-engined plane crashed about 10:35 p. m. Saturday While on a flight from Pittsburgh to Buffalo. The wreckage was found yesterday on a wooded ridge of the Allegheny Mountain foothills in the most remote section ’ of southwestern New York.Chairman Donald Nyrop and other officials of the Civil Aeronautics Board left Washington by air this morning to make an on-the-spot investigation of the crash.THIRD C-46 CRASH I A CAB-spokesman said Nyrop ; was particularly concerned because this was.the third crash of a €-46 in the past .three week.?.
