A letter received during the past week by Mrs. M. E. Butcher. M.ain st., from her son, George, Co. I, 104th Inf., A, E. F. brought the news that he had been gassed and was then in a hospital. The letter was dated Nov. 8, and read- that Private Butcher was gassed while in action about the middle of October and had been in the hospital since, but was receiving the best of care and was canidly recovering. This is the second time that Private Butcher was wounded.
