Peo pie from almost every section of the State are here meeting their friends and comrades, whom thev have not met since last reunion. Several are missing from the ranks, having passed to the beyond during the past year. The crowd is variously estimated to be between 4,000 to 6,000 and each train arriving is crowded to its full capacity. The reunions at Engh^’ have become a fixed affair and are looked to from one year to the next as the time and place of meeting old £rieuds„f otfc far and near, and this year is no exception to the rule. English, as always on thesd occasions, is decorated from center to circumference in honor ofthe heroes of two wars.Red lemonade, orange cider, etc. is everywhere in evidence. The steam swing with its melodious music, and the 10c shows are also here. Mode: Knowland's martial band, of Leavenworth, is here with ‘‘The Girl I Left Behind Me,” e’c., and all in all it is a repetition of former years and a time looked forward to by our citizens s 4 eek of general good time r 'g. Taking the gathering all in all it is a grand affair, and we hope to have you all here with us again next August.Ivan Goldman and Miss Mae Smith, of Patoka township, were united in marriage at the court house Tuesday afternoon, Eld. A. J. Goodman officiating.The case of the State against Leslie Bunch, the boy who shot young Satterfield, was called here Monday. The case whs continued to September 4th, and young Bunch released on bond iu the sum of $350. Bunch claims self defense. He is represented by Jerry I, Suddarth.
