MARK E. COSTELLOMark E. Costello who recently completed eight weeks of basic training at Fort OnL California, reported to Fort Belvair, Virginia on Saturday, % March 28.At the basic training graduation a special award was made to the young recruit. Presented to him was a trophy for being the top scorer in Basic Rifle Marksmanship. He qualified as expert. At the time the award was presented, he was promoted to the rank of E2.At the Fort Belvair army base he will be continuing his training as a power generator operator and mechanic.Attending the graduation exercise at Fort Ord were Mrs. Lola Costello, wife of the recruit; Mr. and Mrs. Dan W. Costello, his parents and Mrs. May Watson aurandmother.
