Grand Entertainment for Dauphin Espousals in Paris

On the eighteenth, Count Durfort hosted a grand entry and nuptial ceremony for the Dauphin with Archduchess Antonia. The Augustin church was lavishly decorated with lights, canopies, and tapestries. Royal processions, benediction by Visconti, Te Deum with cannon salutes, and a public supper followed, culminating in concerts, balls, and a noble knighthood elevation for Khevenholler and Auersperg.
