Christian Morality The Humble Man
The humble man is a friendly enemy to himself, valuing others' worth less than his own. He gives, seeks no self praise, bears honours meekly, and judges himself severely. He avoids public distraction, seeks private communion with God, and remains patient under miseries. He esteems goodness above all and never overestimates his merit.
