Benjamin Thorns of Dewsbury Chronicle of a Quiet Pious Life
Benjamin Thorns was born February 17 1777 in Dewsbury York, raised by Methodist parents, and grew to a devout follower through struggle and prayer. He resisted worldly amusements until 1791, vowed service, and after hard effort found comfort in faith, praying for a life of mercy and a triumphant death with continual prayer and charity.
