Last Days of Arah Hurst and Her Faithful End

Arah Hurst born 1782 at Middleton near Manchester endured a life of illness and pious resolve. Failing health from October 1906 to November 1807 tested her but she maintained exemplary patience and faith, finally dying in the 34th year of her age. Her funeral drew large crowds and was followed by a sermon praised for its impact. She learned to read, prayed daily, and struggled with a hurried temper but gained victory through devotion to God.
