Missionary letters from Antigua and St Kitts reveal steady church growth
In February 1810 letters from THOMAS ISHAM in Antigua and EDWARD TURNER in St. Kitts describe peace and unity in congregations, expulsions for immorality, arrivals of Gilgrafs, Harlett, Woolley and others, and hopes for increased salvation. Turner notes a bright Christmas revival, a Society of one thousand with ten whites, and renewed preaching after a ban, plus progress at Sandy Point, Gaffeterre, Old Road, and potential gains in Guadaloupe and nearby islands.
