Town water supply deputation to water commission at Bacchus Marsh
A deputation led by Monsees T Anderson and others urged the Water Commission to improve Bacchus Marsh’s failing water supply. They cited weeks of no water, poor pressure, and drafts from Pyke's Creek reservoir. Discussion covered higher storage, larger mains, piping improvements, and potential rate increases to fund towers and taps. The commission favors tapping Werribee for Pike's Creek and warned of higher rates if plans proceed.
