Big Annual Melfort Fair Promises Record Exhibits
Readiness is complete for Melfort's Big Annual Fair to be held Wednesday and Thursday this week. Directors and Secretary McMillan report record entry numbers and high quality exhibits across livestock, poultry, and prize stock. Harper and Sons bring nineteen Jersey cattle from Westrock Alberta and Manitoba hosts 140 prize birds. The fair opens Wednesday evening if weather permits and Thursday is forecast to set a record day. Pleasantdale hosted its first annual picnic at the lake on July 24 drawing crowds from all directions. A horse race won by T.
