Four Soviet Officials Kidnapped in West Beirut
Gunmen in Moslem-controlled West Beirut abducted four Soviet Embassy officials. Voice of Lebanon radio reported two separate seizures: Second Secretary Valeri Korneev and Attache Oleg Spirine were seized together, while Arkady Katakov and the embassy’s resident doctor were taken in a second incident.
