152 animals used in Suffield blast

Defence Minister Paul Hellyer told the House of Commons 152 animals were used in a 500 ton TNT blast at Suffield Experimental Station in July. The animals included 20 sheep 108 goats and 24 cattle. Survivors were euthanized after examination and all carcasses were buried post mortem.

Lord Strathcona Horse to Tour Cyprus for UN Mission

Calgary based Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) will begin a six month Cyprus tour as part of the United Nations force. An advance party of 14 officers led by Maj.
